The building up of self-awareness is a crucial component of education life skills instruction. Reflective exercises along with also the maintenance of a personal journal which serves as a healthy station for the pouring out of emotions in the sometimes delicate psyche of a teenager makes the journey into adulthood a little smoother. Empathy is another element that has to be covered extensively. It’s the ability to put oneself in another individual’s shoes and take a look at the world through the lenses of another individual. Group discussions, debates and team actions can be integrated to enhance the amount of compassion along with field trips as a volunteer to hospitals, orphanages, old-age homes, etc.. Yoga and meditation may also be taught as part of life skill education. The total character of this adolescent is improved in this manner. Well-rounded individuals prepared to step into the adult world and embrace its complexities using their toes grounded on the firm soil will emerge due to a heightened focus on psychological and social skill building. These individuals are going to be more equipped to cope with the growing challenges of modern life with a sense of balance and poise.
